I couldn’t possibly say enough about the help that Kelzi provided me and my fiancé throughout the whole home-buying process but here it goes... Starting the process: At first I didn’t think I wanted to use a realtor because I didn’t see the point (very foolish thinking). So I tried to set up some viewings myself on Zillow which were hit and miss and Kelzi ended up reaching out to us and asked if we could use some help. Other realtors had tried to do the same but I didn’t get good vibes from them. Either it seemed they were too pushy or I just felt we were only a potential sale to them. Kelzi seemed like she was genuinely interested in helping us find the right home for us which was refreshing. My fiancé and I were walking into home-buying without any real understanding of the process and I had some issues with my credit. She was able to put us in contact with great people who gave us solid advice to get things straightened out and on solid ground to begin the home-buying process in a very timely manner. Searching for homes: So we were looking in/around Rochester NY for homes during a very competitive market and I was trying to use a VA loan which can make your offer a little less favorable than conventional loan offers. But anytime we found a house we were interested in she was somehow always available. It was that nice feeling when you know you’re not the person’s/business’s only client, but they make you feel like you are. And it didn’t take long for Kelzi to pick up on what we wanted in a home in order to help our search. Also, every time we went and saw a home she would have valuable input on the quality of certain aspects of the house (roof, hot water heater, structure, etc). It was very helpful for giving us an idea that if we did want a particular house, what we would be getting into on day one with it. The truthfulness and straightforwardness made us very comfortable with Kelzi and reinforced that feeling that she was more interested in us finding the right home than simply making a sale. And to those using VA loans or something similar, I would say listen to what she has to say. She gave us very good advice and she definitely knows what she’s talking about when it comes to those types of loans in a competitive market. It was not long until we ended up with the perfect home. Purchasing a home: Another part of the process that I couldn’t imagine doing without Kelzi. She was always ready to go with the paperwork. Fantastic at negotiating with the seller to get us what we wanted/needed. And again, the team she works with for closing was great. Clear communication and always available and ready to answer questions. I always found it reassuring that I could get whatever question I had answered accurately and in a timely fashion especially since we were about to make the biggest and most important purchase of our lives. Right from our first phone conversation I knew I made the right choice calling Grant.
